What does a successful Senior Finance Manager do?
A successful Senior Finance Manager is a strategic leader who drives financial clarity and operational excellence for the Clover business. They proactively manage close and planning cycles, deliver insightful analysis, and clearly communicate performance drivers to senior leadership. They bring structure to complex data, craft compelling narratives for executive and investor audiences, and champion process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency. They operate as a trusted partner, collaborating across teams to influence decisions that shape the future of the business. Be a key voice in crafting the business story, collaborating with Investor Relations and C-Suite to align on narrative and deliver insights that impact executive communications.
What you will do:
- Lead the close process, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning process for Global Clover P&L, in partnership with product and channel finance and business partners.
- Monitor and explain monthly performance vs. targets, including variance analysis risks and opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality dashboards, decks, and reports to Finance and Executive leadership.
- Collaborate with BU and Corporate FP&A to ensure alignment with consolidated financials and reporting cadence.
- Support automation and improvement of forecasting and reporting processes to reduce cycle times and improve accuracy.
- Lead ad-hoc analyses for special projects and executive requests.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Experience with SAP/BPC/Oracle.
- Experience with Power BI/PowerPivot.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry.
