Financial Analyst to join our team in
Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of more complex financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
- Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
- Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
- Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Provides key financial analysis and management reporting by managing various monthly reporting processes.
- May assume a team lead role for the work group.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (additional experience may be substituted for education).
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the US Navy, including on active duty, government civilian, or support contractor.
- Experience working with US Navy Program Managers in an analyst role.
Clearance Requirements
- Must hold an active Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
