The role involves managing the entire sales process focusing on generating new National Accounts opportunities, from uncovering potential leads to developing solution/value propositions, preparing designs, formulating service solutions, negotiating terms, and closing sales opportunities. The candidate must meet and exceed financial targets, demonstrate extensive knowledge of fire systems and sales cycles, have proven sales results, experience in territory management and strategic thinking, build and nurture relationships, embrace new tools and methods, focus on self and team development, maintain an active proposal backlog, travel up to 25% as needed, develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and follow up to ensure successful closing of sales. Required qualifications include exceptional presentation skills, experience in selling services and intangibles in the fire systems sector, familiarity with sales methodologies, high motivation, high energy focused on customer satisfaction, strong organizational and communication skills, personable and reliable character, and a minimum of two years of successful sales experience in a quota-driven environment. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering, 2-3 years of progressive sales roles, knowledge of the fire and life safety industry, experience with Salesforce.com, and aptitude for technical knowledge with high attention to detail. The hiring salary range is $49,700 - 91,200 base, with a competitive Sales Incentive Plan and benefits package.
