MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Systems Administrator to join our team onsite in
San Diego, California. This is an
onsite position.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide Tier 3 technical remote and onsite support and guidance to NCTE Range end-users, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system configurations and network connectivity for Range POR systems
- Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and best practices, with a focus on maintaining a secure IT environment
- Strong understanding of Group Policy Management and Active Directory in Windows environments
- Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT systems and processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively
- Up to 25% travel can be expected
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant IT systems experience
- Experience in system administration, with proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments
- Must have CompTIA Security+ CE
- Must have a VMware, Windows, or Linux Operating System (OS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Clearance Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a top Secret clearance
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
