What You Will Do
• Lead comprehensive planning and readiness initiatives for major events such as hurricanes, winter weather, and wildfires. Own the development and implementation of seasonal preparedness strategies by coordinating enterprise risk modeling, scenario planning, and tabletop exercises. Ensure proper processes, product support, and cross-functional alignment are in place for each season. Continuously identify areas to improve enterprise-wide readiness and response capabilities.
• Monitor and assess potential threats to the enterprise, including natural disasters, geopolitical events, and critical infrastructure failures. Lead real-time decision-making and escalation processes, coordinating with multiple business functions to enable swift and effective responses.
• Act as the central command-and-control hub during planning phases and escalated events. Engage directly with senior functional leaders to align on response strategies, resolve conflicts, and maintain continuity of operations.
• Provide time-sensitive communications and operational updates to enterprise leadership. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support data-informed decisions across all levels of the organization.
• Serve as a key partner to Inventory Flow, Replenishment, and Distribution Center Operations to prioritize product movement, assess inventory availability, and implement emergency allocation strategies.
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve response processes. Contribute to playbook development and train new team members and cross-functional partners on command center operations.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration, emergency management, or a related field and 5-7 Years in supply chain, logistics, or retail operations, with demonstrated exposure to emergency management, business continuity, or disaster response, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 Years experience leading or supporting seasonal planning efforts such as hurricane or winter storm response, or other initiatives involving inventory positioning and product prioritization.
• 3-5 Years of experience analyzing operational issues and developing action plans in a fast-paced environment.
• 3-5 Years communicating complex, time-sensitive information to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including development of operational briefings and enterprise reporting in crisis conditions.
• 3-5 Years analytical experience, including use of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to translate data into actionable insights.
Preferred Skills/Education
• 1-2 Years experience with weather and impact forecasting, including use of weather intelligence tools and development of operational readiness plans.
• 1-2 Years repositioning inventory or restoring product flow following large-scale disruptions, in coordination with Distribution Centers, transportation teams, and merchandising partners.
• 1-2 Years of experience using data visualization or reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI) to track performance metrics.
