What does a successful Federal Sales Executive do?
A successful Federal Sales Executive at Fiserv is responsible for driving sales, delivering superior solutions, and managing customer experience for Federal Government agencies. Focused on building and nurturing client relationships, this role is pivotal in increasing wallet share and ensuring client retention. With a keen understanding of Fiserv’s mission and culture, the Federal Sales Executive is committed to aligning with clients' needs and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
What you will do:
- Deliver revenue growth through orchestrating new solution sales and executing the contract renewal process.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans linking account strategies, business drivers, and Fiserv solutions.
- Build and enhance relationships with clients’ executives, decision makers, influencers, and users.
- Monitor client satisfaction and facilitate improvements, communicating regularly with key stakeholders alongside the Relationship Management team.
- Participate in prospect, client, and partner meetings to assist with sales and business development opportunities.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of sales experience in Sales or Merchant Account Executive roles
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services technology industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- 5+ years of successful sales experience selling into the Federal Government.
- 5+ years of experience working in a matrix environment.
- 5+ years of experience managing large complex clients and conducting contract negotiations for multi-million-dollar contracts.
Important information about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
- In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
