Overview
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to address tenant reactive / requested repairs and services and basic preventative maintenance work orders, while maintaining a safe environment for building occupants.
Pay: $16.50/hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Electrical
- Walk facility and replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed.
- Report light ballast issues to engineering.
- Troubleshoot appliances and other equipment.
Plumbing
- Unclog drains with plunger or drain snake.
- Locate and close isolation valves for emergencies.
Carpentry and Locks
- Install shelves, soap dispensers, and other fixtures.
- Perform simple woodworking repairs.
- Hang clocks, pictures bulletin boards, coat hooks, etc.
Miscellaneous
- Knowledge of computers, work order systems, and ability to read reports.
- Be able to communicate and respond to tenant requests as instructed.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders in accordance to customer and management timelines and expectations.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, climb on ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ year of experience in related role
- Valid Driver's License
- Customer Service experience preferred
