MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented
Program Analyst to join our team working in
Washington, D.C. This is a
hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 remote per week.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide oversight and planning for the LSD 41/49 Class and ESB Class ship programs, evaluating program activities, and developing executive-level briefing materials to communicate programmatic status to government and private sector stakeholders
- Develop Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documentation in support of the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP), based on strategic requirements, command guidance, and priorities
- Lead or participate in the execution, updating, and projection of program financial funds and records
- Perform multifaceted assignments requiring analysis of complex systems and projects
- Evaluate and report on anticipated future requirements; develop plans to meet competing demands; and provide input on the feasibility of proposed approaches to programmatic challenges
- Use data analytics to assess historical maintenance and modernization impacts on ship sustainment projects and forecast future project durations impacting program budgets
- Access and extract relevant information from Navy databases including the Navy Data Environment (NDE)
- Travel up to 10% may be required
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of program or project analysis experience supporting federal contracts or the military
- Bachelor’s degree in any field; additional relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience developing Program Objective Memorandums (POM) following the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPB&E) process
- Experience executing, updating, and projecting program financial funds and records
- Experience managing project or program cost, schedule, performance, and risk
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Navy maintenance and modernization processes and implementation
Clearance Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
