What does a successful Account Manager do?
The Account Manager at Fiserv thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a variety of day-to-day responsibilities. The Account Manager is passionate about establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with clients by leveraging a thorough understanding of Fiserv's products, platforms, and processes to provide the highest level of client support. They identify opportunities to proactively respond to client needs, growing revenue through the selling of product enhancements and solutions.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary Point of Contact for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) clients and build long-term relationships with clients
- Organize and manage client communications, including status calls with States, and provide ongoing support for the client relationship and FDGS Team through both remote support and on-site client visits
- Identify opportunities to proactively respond to client needs, growing revenue through the selling of product enhancements
- Build and maintain partnerships with other client support teams to drive operational excellence and achieve the service expectations of the Clients
- Manage invoicing, contract matters, and commercialization with customers
- Handle ticketing queues and ensure timely resolution of tickets and issues
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients
- Prepare regular account status updates, communicating clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, engaging in business development and customer relationship management
- 5+ years of experience building relationships with client and internal executives and stakeholders of all levels
- Experience in communication, presentation, and influencing at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level
- Experience preparing and making complex decisions using a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 5+ years of experience in project management using Agile methodologies
- 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale public sector Health & Human Services information technology modernization projects
- PMP certification
- Familiarity with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
