Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Overnight Bilingual Supervisor of Janitorial Services to lead our cleaning and maintenance staff. The ideal candidate will ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Schedule: Monday -Friday 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM
Pay: $70,000.00/annual
The pay listed is the salary for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Essential Functions - Conduct quality inspections within assigned areas.
- Ensure cleaning operations meet or exceed client expectations.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with training and development of staff.
- Provide guidance on safety, cleaning procedures, and chemical usage.
- Address performance issues such as tardiness and absenteeism using proper documentation.
- Lead and participate in team efforts to complete tasks.
- Act as shift lead in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Direct smaller work groups when Supervisor is present.
- Support Supervisor and Shift Manager in overseeing field employees.
- Report performance concerns to Supervisor.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, clients, and management.
- Comply with all safety, security, and quality standards.
Responsibilities - Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Facilitate open communication between field staff and management.
- Offer positive coaching and feedback.
- Assist in training housekeeping staff and scheduling assignments.
- Help create daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings.
- Manage keys and access cards.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning items.
- Ensure premises are secured at all times.
- Handle additional service requests (tag jobs).
- Coordinate job scheduling with Area Manager and Property Manager.
- Monitor job quality and confirm completion.
- Train new hires assigned to the building.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Complete and verify time sheets.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Submit accurate order forms.
- Coordinate equipment usage and inventory.
- Perform tasks required of the cleaning team.
- Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 1–2 years of custodial experience.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
