What does a successful Content Designer/UX Writer do at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for designing the interactions between merchants and their customers - our merchant point of sale experiences, consumer payment experiences and mobile app. You will also be responsible for designing the services and software that enable small businesses to understand their data and manage their businesses.
In this role, you’ll solve real-world challenges faced by a diverse set of user types and needs, ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to contractors on-the-go.
What you will do:
- Deliver intuitive in-product content for SaaS products, showcasing UX writing, content strategy, and user flow optimization.
- Iterate content based on user research, analytics, and feedback.
- Proactively partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape user experiences through content. Gather information and ask strategic questions to uncover user needs and opportunities.
- Craft logical and effective content structures and user flows to ensure effortless navigation and understanding of product interfaces.
- Balance concise UI microcopy with detailed explanations, adapting writing style for various contexts, audiences, and product touchpoints.
- Immerse yourself in new features, asking questions and exploring diverse use cases to enhance the user journey and solve problems.
- Commit to exceptional content quality across the product experience, from button labels to onboarding flows, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Maintain an eye for detail and uphold content quality and consistency across all platforms and user interactions.
What you will need to have:
- 3 years as a Content Designer for digital platforms, ideally in SaaS or a product-led company.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Solid understanding of content strategy, UX writing best practices, and the role of Help content in the user journey.
What would be great to have:
- Experience writing for product navigation, onboarding, and help; or with design systems and accessibility.
- Familiarity with information architecture, reusable content models, and CMS documentation.
- Refined sensibility for information architecture, user experience, and content organization.
- Proficiency connecting design principles, brand voice, and product narratives, including UI copy.
- Solid understanding of Product Design processes and best practices, iterating designs based on research, feedback, and metrics.

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
