The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager to support the Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch (AFVB) within the Land Systems Division. In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, integration, and execution of ILS activities across the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle for some of the Army’s most advanced and complex land combat systems.
Based at MILVECHOE, Redbank Plains, you will be exposed to major Defence platforms including armoured fighting vehicles, heavy armoured systems, and associated mission equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to optimising through-life support outcomes, ensuring these capabilities remain effective, sustainable, and operationally ready.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver ILS strategies across acquisition, sustainment, and disposal phases in line with Defence policy, the One Defence Capability System (ODCS), and CASG requirements.
- Oversee the integration of ILS elements including supply support, maintenance planning, technical data management, training, facilities, and configuration management.
- Conduct and review supportability analysis, LORA, FMECA, and sparing analysis to inform decision-making.
- Engage with CASG stakeholders, OEMs, subcontractors, and Army end-users to align ILS outcomes with operational requirements.
- Manage procurement and acquisition planning to ensure whole-of-life supportability of major Defence platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Defence security protocols, ITAR restrictions, and ASDEFCON frameworks.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex logistics projects within cost, schedule, and performance targets.
- Provide input into Statements of Work, contract data deliverables, and tender evaluations.
- Contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement of sustainment strategies across AFV capability.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in ILS management within Defence programs, preferably within CASG or MSP environments.
- Strong understanding of Defence logistics systems such as MILIS.
- Familiarity with Defence logistics frameworks, ODCS, MIL-STDs, and ISO standards for supportability.
- Experience working with heavy/armoured vehicle platforms or complex land systems highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels across Defence and industry.
- NV1 clearance (minimum) and ability to operate in ITAR-restricted environments.
