Position Overview:
A small, growing e-commerce business is seeking a motivated and dependable Sales & Customer Service Associate to support our daily operation by assisting with customer phone inquiries & order entry, customer support, order processing, and order fulfillment duties. The company specializes in high-quality hair replacement products, including hair wigs and men’s toupees. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, fast fulfillment, and personalized support. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle customer inquiries will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, confidently guiding customers through products, and providing an exceptional customer experience. You’ll work on-site in Linthicum Heights, MD, with opportunities to grow into a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone calls from new and existing customers in professional manner.
- Enter phone orders into the system accurately.
- Respond to customer emails in a clear and professional manner.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in our system.
- Communicate with Office Manager to resolve customer issues and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Pull items from inventory storeroom and package for shipment.
- Assist with light clerical duties, including order documentation and filing.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Convert new customer inquiries into sales by confidently explaining products and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Strong phone presence and sales-minded communication skills.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, or call center roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and persuasive approach to customer interaction.
- Basic computer skills (Word/Excel helpful, but not required).
- Willingness to learn the product line and internal systems.
- Interest in hair loss solution products is helpful, but training will be provided
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
