Job Title: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
POSITION SUMMARY:
FlyHouse is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic analysis functions. This pivotal leadership role works closely with the CFO and executive team to deliver data-driven insights that support business growth and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is an experienced FP&A leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited about building and refining processes as FlyHouse continues to scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all FP&A activities, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly reporting
- Partner with the CFO and other executive leaders to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
- Develop and manage financial models that support decision-making across charter, MRO, aircraft management, and other business units
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; provide clear, actionable insights
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and capital expenditure analysis
- Drive the preparation of board-level materials, investor presentations, and KPI reporting
- Develop dashboards and interactive performance tools leveraging Power BI, Excel, and Business Central
- Establish and improve processes, tools, and systems to scale FP&A capabilities in alignment with company growth
- Serve as a thought partner to department heads, supporting goal setting, performance tracking, and accountability
- Manage, mentor, and grow a small FP&A team as the company expands
- Support M&A analysis, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CMA or CPA preferred
- 7–10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role
- Proven track record in high-growth, private equity-backed, or entrepreneurial environments
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and performance management
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or Power BI
- Strong business acumen with the ability to distill complex data into clear and actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and build structure where needed
