Position Summary:
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role requires expertise in standard Salesforce administration tasks, as well as specialized experience with Customer and Partner Digital Experience Cloud sites, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), and Lightning apps. Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Administration: Perform standard Salesforce administration tasks, including user account management, security settings, role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and data management.
- Digital Experience Cloud Management: Configure and maintain Customer and Partner Digital Experience Cloud sites to deliver seamless, branded digital experiences for customers and partners.
- Account Engagement (Pardot): Administer and optimize Account Engagement for marketing automation, including email campaigns, lead nurturing, scoring, and integration with Salesforce CRM.
- Lightning Apps: Design, configure, and deploy Lightning apps to enhance user productivity and streamline business processes.
- Customization & Configuration: Build and manage workflows, process builder flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and custom objects to support business needs.
- Day-to-Day Management: Handle routine administrative tasks, including troubleshooting issues, managing data imports/exports, and ensuring system performance and uptime.
- User Support & Training: Provide ongoing support and training to users, ensuring adoption and proficiency across the organization.
- Integration Management: Collaborate with IT and development teams to manage integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.
- Best Practices & Optimization: Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations.
- Development Support (Optional): Assist with basic Apex and Visualforce development for custom solutions, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with hands-on expertise in Salesforce CRM configuration and management.
- Proven experience administering Customer and Partner Digital Experience Cloud sites.
- Strong knowledge of Account Engagement (Pardot) for marketing automation.
- Proficiency in building and managing Lightning apps and components.
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration tools (e.g., workflows, process builder, flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards).
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud Consultant) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and train end-users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., APIs, middleware)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Flow for advanced automation
- Understanding of data modeling and database management principles
- Experience in [industry-specific context, e.g., tech, finance, healthcare, if applicable]
