What does a successful Lead Professional Services Technical Consultant do? A successful Lead Professional Services Technical Consultant at Fiserv is integral in leading the implementation and support of our ACH solutions for financial institutions. They serve as the quintessential bridge between client needs and Fiserv’s technology offerings, providing expert guidance and ensuring seamless integration of our payments applications. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional client-centric mindset.
What you will do:
- Present yourself as a confident ACH Technical Consulting professional in all customer-facing situations (in-person, via telephone, or electronically via email), providing excellent support to financial institution clients.
- Serve as the technical leader for project-based assignments, acting as the Fiserv expert on the ACH team.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to install and test high availability Payments applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and smoke test Fiserv products using technologies such as JAVA, J2EE, Spring Boot, and web services.
- Provide technical platform support documentation as part of project deliverables upon request.
- Utilize extensive experience with ACH APIs, particularly PEP+ Direct API, Exchange, and CommonView.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 6+ years of experience in technical consulting with a focus on ACH solutions.
- 6+ years of experience with JAVA, J2EE, Spring Boot, and web services.
- 5+ years of experience with PEP+ Direct, PEP+ Exchange, and CommonView.
- 5+ years of experience with IBM Websphere , Weblogic, Apigee, and Mulesoft.
- 5+ years of with DB2 and SQL.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- 7+ years of experience with system integration and architecture.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar are highly desirable.
- Strong Plus - Install, configure, trouble-shoot and smoke test Fiserv ACH PEP+ system using the following technologies with a high level of proficiency: IBM Mainframe TSO/ISPF, DB2, CICS, MQ, JCL
