What does a successful Software developer do?
The Specialist is responsible for designing and developing Data Applications powering various Operational and Analytical use cases. This is a full-time position with career growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package. What you will do:
- Responsible to drive Data and Analytical application development and maintenance
- Design and develop highly efficient Data engineering pipelines and Database systems leveraging Oracle, PL/SQL, Java
- Demonstrate building highly efficient and performing Data applications catering to Business with higher data accuracy and faster response
- Optimize performance, fixes bugs to improve Data availability and Accuracy
- Create Technical Design documents
- Collaborate with multiple teams to provide technical knowhow, solutions to complex business problems
- Develop reusable assets, Create knowledge repository
- Being a team player, ability to collaborate idea sharing in a strong product setting
- Following Agile SDLC, participating in planning and Scrum boards.
- Displaying problem-solving skills and Innovative thinking
What you will need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in designing and deploying Enterprise-level Data Applications
- Strong development/technical skills in Oracle Database SQL technologies and as an Oracle Developer
- Strong understanding and development skill in Data Transformations and Aggregations
- Must have experience in UNIX, Shell script, Core Java
- Strong Knowledge on Table partitions, sub-partitions, Partition maintenance, Stats gather
- Hands-on experience server-side tools like SQLLDR, External table, Exchange partition
- Hands on experience on Database collections, PLSQL table, OLTP systems
- Experience in Star and Snowflake DB design is desired.
- Experience in Performance tuning to build out high performing Data load and extractions
- Experience with Jenkins, JIRA, DevOps, CICD
- 2-3 years of Agile development experience is a plus
- Experience with financial and payment industry with exposure to security is a plus
- Ability to develop Reusable assets and Frameworks
What would be great to have:
- 3+ years of experience in designing and deploying applications using Oracle PL/SQL with Java knowledge
- Experience in Banking and Financial sector would be added advantage
