About your role:
As an Integration Engineer in Embedded Finance you will develop, manage, and implement innovative solutions to complex business problems by leveraging Fiserv's platforms across financial institution and merchant solutions. Our integration engineers have a solid understanding of software engineering and can communicate highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Your primary role is to provide technical consulting to ecosystem partners and clients in a clear, concise, documented fashion. Secondary responsibilities include assisting in the development of new products.
What you'll do:
- Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of Fiserv's various core banking platforms and their underlying architectures.
- Ensure platforms integrate as holistic solutions.
- Create a culture of learning and collaboration across the ecosystem.
- Lead and participate in troubleshooting exercises for partner integrations.
- Apply complex technical concepts across a hybrid cloud environment.
- Support the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application requirements.
- Assisting in analysis that will identify requirements related to people, processes, and technology in the Embedded Finance ecosystem.
- Develop and code core functionality and interfaces for our clients.
- Participate in execution and documentation of tests.
Experience you'll need to have:
- &+ years of experience as an implementation engineer or integration engineer with fluency in functional, imperative and/or object-oriented languages
- 7+ years professional experience in API and software development
- 4+ years of experience with SQL functions such as joins, subqueries, and aggregations
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot complex SQL queries in a business context
- 3+ years of experience using Postman to test and validate RESTful APIs through manual and automated requests
- 3+ year of experience writing and managing test scripts in Postman using JavaScript for pre-request and test validation
- Familiarity with creating, organizing, and executing Postman collections for structured API testing
- Experience with modeling and diagramming tools such as Visio or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Background in financial software working with clients directly and with internal project team members.
- Knowledge of Golang programming.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
