What You’ll Be Doing (aka Your Superpowers)
- Be the hero who keeps the lights on—literally.
- Test, troubleshoot, and energize high-voltage substations for Brownfield and Greenfield projects in the utility footprint.
- Create smart plans—from functional test plans to re-energization strategies.
- Calibrate and test cutting-edge relays like SEL-351, SEL-751, and more.
- Document your brilliance with daily reports and test results.
- Mentor and lead a team of P&C Field Engineers (Levels 1 & 2).
- Champion safety with daily hazard analyses and strict compliance with NERC/FERC regulations.
What You Bring to the Table
- 7+ years of electrical testing experience (you’re basically a wizard with wires).
- Leadership chops and project management skills.
- Deep knowledge of NFPA70E, lockout/tagout, and hazardous energy control.
- Experience with Enoserv RTS, Megger, and Omicron test equipment.
- A clean driving record and a go-anywhere attitude.
Physical & Environmental Stuff
- You’ll be working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs (we’re talking real power here).
- Safety gear is your best friend.

The Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: • Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
• Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
• Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary
• Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
