About Your Role
You will partner with various network product teams to provide expert level engineering and architecture on a variety of network, security, cloud, virtualization, SDN & automation technologies. You will be involved in early conceptual assessments through POC’s and will be an integral part of many transformative initiatives that will institute automated self-service solutions to efficiently deliver on internal & external customer demands.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, engineer, and release consumable network products for various product teams such as Network Security, Network Data Center, Client WAN, Corporate, etc.
- Provide expert level knowledge in campus wireless and wired networks and SD-WAN
- Proactively identify and deliver automation and security deployments
- Drive engineering and architecture standards and procedures across the global enterprise
- Lead several global initiatives in the corporate network space such as configuration compliance, vulnerability management, lifecycle management, and automation
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 8+ years of experience with Campus Networks including wired and WiFi, Zero-trust, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco DNA, and SASE architectures
- 8+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available underlay and overlay networking & security constructs (MPLS, eVPN, VxLAN, SD-WAN)
- 8+ years of experience in provisioning, protecting, and maintaining Internet peering points, Public IP Management and DDOS services
- 8+ years of experience in troubleshooting complex network technologies throughout all layers of the OSI model and deploying/diagnosing the following protocols and functions: IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, VLANs, MPLS, IPSEC, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VxLAN, RPKI, eVPN, VRRP, MLAG, VPC, STP, Anycast, IPSEC, SSL, TLS
- 5+ years of experience in automating Network and/or Security deployments using coding/scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Powershell, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience working with PCI/DSS controls, protections, and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) to properly articulate complicated Network/Security designs to management and business partners
- Strong documentation skills of solution and low-level designs
- Experience deploying & maintaining large scale L2 & L3 DataCenter Networks
- Experience with Cisco (IOS & NXOS) and Arista (EOS) DataCenter equipment
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Solutions Architect

- Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected
