About Your Role
As a Crypto Services Business Support Engineer, you will serve as a strategic bridge between Merchant business stakeholders and key management teams, and deliver on cryptographic key related services. You will regularly partner with Key Custodians, Business and Technology Support personnel to analyze, define, design, test, implement, and continuously mature automation solutions. You will help facilitate the secure handling of specially controlled data required for the issuance of consumer payment instruments and protection of payment data and processing systems, ensuring that key requests align with business goals and meets all Fiserv and industry requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and technical cryptographic systems, enabling effective communication, trouble shooting, and solution delivery across multiple merchant supporting platforms.
What you’ll do:
- Execute initiatives supporting our automation strategy, manage operating workflows and progress continuous improvement opportunities
- Collect, define and document requirements, including security and procedural controls, for optimizing operating processes, automating requisite system management tasks, and integrating with company management, security and compliance systems and tools
- Define, document and maintain system data, configuration standards, asset inventory, system and event monitoring rules, reporting specifications and standard operating procedures
- Consult with business, cyber security, technology and compliance support teams to evaluate technologies and product capabilities, and determine data protection and operating requirements to support service delivery
- Troubleshoot problems, recommend new or amended system functionality and capabilities, identify operational process gaps and take corrective actions
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 7+ years of experience working in a systems/security analyst, engineering, and/or technology risk management role
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- 4+ years of experience deploying, configuring, testing, and maintaining global Windows based environments
- 4+ years of experience interfacing with and/or maintaining Hardware Security Modules (HSM’s)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Demonstrated aptitude to assess, engineer, implement and mature solutions
- Demonstrated experience identifying improvements, initiating corrective actions and delivering results
- A flexible work schedule and periodically assist with off-hours/overnight support activities
- Ability to effectively tailor communications based on technical expertise of audience

Travel:
- Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected
