Description:As the Multi-Functional Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading a multifunctional team of Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Quality Control Analysts, and Leaders to ensure the effective execution of Fabrication Quality.
Fabrication focus includes tooling, composites, shipping/receiving, electrical, composites, tube/weld, paint, and non-destructive inspection.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Quality Control Analysts and Leaders, to ensure the effective execution of quality functions.
- Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production Control, to ensure quality requirements are integrated into product design, production, and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, six sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans to ensure effective use of resources and achievement of quality objectives.
- Foster a culture of Quality excellence, encouraging employee engagement, training, and development to ensure a skilled and competent workforce.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing in a production environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation planning.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Desired Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Non-destructive test/inspection methods
- Certification in quality management, such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- Financial/business acumen

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
