Description: You will be the Subcontract Manager Staff for the IRST Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for facilitating the procurement cycle from beginning to end, ensuring timely delivery of quality products to our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process, working with suppliers, and managing subcontract efforts. You will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, operating in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Working with program management to generate and manage subcontract efforts
• Generating and implementing Affordability initiatives across the supply base
• Performing price analysis and leading negotiations
• Interfacing with government and Lockheed Martin customers, technical personnel, and other functional organizations
• Holding procurement delegation and signing supplier agreements and purchase orders
• Leading team to develop solutions to complex problems

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited college
• Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry
• Thorough knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP and MAPS, with
• associated knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and specialized application software associated with the Procurement function (such as P2P) and SAP
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Considered an emerging authority
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with supplier schedule recovery with complex technical issues
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Supplier Management Teams
• Investigation completed within last 5 years for US DOD Secret Clearance
• Experience with large proposal efforts

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
