Description:Field Sales Spt Sys Engr SrLocation: Marietta GAWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Senior – Level 3, you will play a critical role in ensuring mission readiness by managing the logistics of spare and repair parts for military aircraft. Leading a small team of Item Analysts, you will make and execute decisions for operating inventory across suppliers, repair facilities, warehousing, and customer locations. Your work will directly impact inventory allocation, priority interpretation, and asset redistribution to optimize supply chain performance and support operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a small team of Item Analysts, managing daily logistics operations for spare and repair parts.
- Make operational decisions regarding inventory allocation, prioritization, and redistribution across multiple supply sources and military locations.
- Support proposal development, inventory optimization models, forecasts, and budget planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Lockheed Martin Engineering, Procurement, and US Air Force representatives.
- Track, analyze, and report performance metrics to ensure mission readiness and efficient logistics operations.
- Use trend data and proactive inventory management to influence schedules and enable smooth logistics flow for maintenance and flight operations.

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college OR 4 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
• Experience with Military Supply Chain Logistics, Warehouse Inventory Management, Item Management, and/or Supplier Management
• Experience with high-priority spares and/or repairs requisition support and/or component repair cycle management through using SAP or a like enterprise resource planning tool
• Experience with presenting performance status and metrics to customers and leadership
Desired Skills:• Experience with achieving project success under schedule and budget requirements, Cost Account Management
• Experience with SAP or other MRP type software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with inventory management, finance, contracting, procurement, or product support
• Experience working with military or industrial customers such as inside/outside sales, distribution, scheduling, routing, and customer support sales or engineering systems or other engineering type work that involves ability to read drawings, contracts, and requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
