Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join the team in El Segundo, CA!
This management position will be leading the site SQ team members supporting the Space Mission Systems (SMS) portfolio located in El Segundo, CA as well as supporting other Space and Intelligence programs.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance.
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience leading Quality Management Systems
- 3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team
- 3+ years of experience receiving inspection
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master’s degree or higher preferred
- Lean / Six Sigma working knowledge
- Previous aerospace industry experience
Travel:
This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $119,000 – $161,000
