Job Summary:
The Director, of Semiconductor Strategic Sourcing, serves as a key member of the Supply Chain leadership team and leads the Semiconductor Strategic Sourcing team. Responsible for establishing and implementing standards across Supply Chain related to sourcing and procurement. In particular, the Director must be proficient in Supplier and technology strategy development in support of Zebra's product portfolio. The Director must be a result oriented, creative, and strategic leader to leverage knowledge of industry and market trends to develop and champion long-term procurement governance and competitive positioning across Zebra Technologies. Leads in the development of standards for contracts to ensure they align with Zebra legal strategies and facilitates a Request for Proposal process for complex or high-value items. The Director builds and maintains relationships with key business functions and must be skilled at influencing and change management at all levels of the organization while operating in alignment with Zebra’s values.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing awareness of market trends for major categories and proactively
adapt procurement strategy
- Leverage various analytical techniques and tools to conduct regular and ad-hoc
analyses that explain current and past activity, expected trends, and potential
effects of change. Present and support findings and recommendations to various
management levels within the organization
- Utilize analytics, category strategies, pricing, and deal strategy to cultivate an environment focused sourcing and procurement within the organization
- Lead the creation and implementation of sourcing and procurement strategies, policies, and implementation plans (including Price reduction strategies, ensuring Component supply availability, product and technology roadmap alignment, contract coverage and strength, resiliency and risk, supplier financial health, etc)
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert, developing and presenting recommendations from accurate procurement assessments and/or analysis
- Act as a key partner to business stakeholders and collaborate to meet functional and company objectives
- Build and develop a team of high-performing procurement incumbents (including exempt, management, and professional-level roles)
- Design organizational change management processes and policies around sourcing and supplier processes
- With oversight, learns to establish and manage appropriate, meaningful strategic supplier relationships and represent Zebra at Senior levels with the supplier base
- Collaborates with senior leaders to define and implement standard contract development and negotiation processes and a robust supplier review program.
- Collaborates with senior leaders to standardize procurement processes across the
organization in support of reducing costs and improving supplier performance.
- Facilitate the transfer of best practices, continuous improvement processes/practices, and the generation of new savings ideas to impact spend.
- Organize, analyze, report on, and present relevant data to stakeholders
- Champion operational excellence in the company's Category Management and strategic procurement functions.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 20+ years of procurement experience with a minimum of 10 years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated success and increasing scope/responsibilities within the area of sourcing and procurement
- Significant experience with strategic sourcing processes and category management
- Demonstrated a history of successfully leading transformational initiatives
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Experience leading people and creating a high-performance, high-accountability culture (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Experience with strategy development, process design, project delivery, and sourcing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities
- Strong project and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
Travel Requirements (as a % of time): up to 25%

Salary: USD 174400.00 - USD 261600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
