This role offers hands- on experience in environmental, health and safety projects. It is ideal for mechanical, electrical, or sustainability students with a strong dedication in promoting interest in workplace Environmental, Health and Safety.

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections across various departments.
Help develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
Support the preparation of safety and environmental reports and documentation.
Participate in incident investigations and risk assessments.
Collaborate with team members to identify safety hazards and recommend improvements.
Maintain safety and environmental records in compliance with regulations.
Assist in organizing safety and environmental meetings and workshops.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mechanical or electrical engineering student (or recent graduate) who is passionate about promoting and eager to apply technical knowledge to real- world Environmental, Health and Safety challenges in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental regulations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
