About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking Head of Global Trade Finance Servicing & Implementation (Trade Services Senior Manager)
In this role, you will:- Lead the setup and configuration of trade finance products for new and existing clients.
- Coordinate with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to align implementations with regulatory mandates and internal policies.
- Resolve client inquiries and transaction issues in collaboration with operations, product, technology, digital teams and servicing teams.
- Monitor and remediate operational discrepancies, including sanctions disposition and transaction reconciliation
- Participate in risk and control assessments, quality assurance reviews and control testing for trade operations
- Define policies and procedures to comply with the United States and foreign compliance procedures
- Participate in the implementation of long-term strategies, policies and technological advancements in support of international operations functions
- Risk & Compliance Oversight- Support health check reviews, Controls monitoring and validation readiness for regulatory audits and internal assessments
- Monitor workflows and productivity to ensure service level agreements for delivery and quality are met or exceeded
- Collaborate with managers to monitor issues and to ensure quality and efficiency in the Trade Services functional area
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Trade Services
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Manage key customers and interactions with Global Receivables and Trade Finance, CB and CIB LOB's
- Manage a team of customer services and implementation/middle office team members
- Responsible for people and talent management and development
- Lead digital and transformation project along with process, procedure and change management
- Manage and maintain risk management discipline, compliance and control automation efforts
- Liaison and support Global Trade Finance & Operations team across US, APAC and EMEA
Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of Trade Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- Experience in customer servicing, onboarding, and operational support within commercial banking or trade finance.
- Solid product and domain knowledge of import/export letters of credit, standby guarantees, documentary collections, open account solutions and payments
- Familiarity with AML, sanctions, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments and ICC rules (UCP 600, ISBP, URC522, ISP98)
- Proficiency in trade finance systems, Loan accounting, digital channels, contact center and CRM and Case management tools
- Excellent communication and internal/external stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in executive communication, PowerPoint presentations, data analysis and reporting
- Change agent and with transformation and business re-engineering experience

- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office / 2 days remote
