About this role:Wells Fargo is embarking on a multiyear transformation journey aimed at building a centralized capability to store, manage and analyze Financial Crimes Compliance Operations (FCO) data to fulfill the Bank's BSA / AML regulatory, compliance and risk commitments. Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Management Analyst to support the implementation and execution of the Data Governance program within the BSA/AML Data Product and Transformation team. This role will focus on strengthening data governance practices across customer data, beneficial ownership, and customer due diligence programs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will:- Lead in the implementation and ongoing execution of the BSA/AML Data Governance program.
- Establish and maintain data controls, processes, and procedures in alignment with governance policies.
- Lead in establish and maintain business and technical metadata for data products.
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to document data flows, data elements, metadata, lineage, and transformation logic.
- Support the design and implementation of data standardization for the target data mart across Customer Identifier, Beneficial Ownership, and Customer Due Diligence domains.
- Lead monitoring, remediation, and certification of critical data elements across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Partner with Data Architects, Data Engineering, and Operations teams to improve efficiency, enhance data quality, and strengthen regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a key contributor to the BSA/AML Data Product and Transformation Data Governance team.
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality management across multiple organizations.
- Previous worked as data steward or data governance role in a major financial company.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, data, and technology teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to accomplish multiple tasks through effective prioritization of duties.
- Experience in educating and influencing program stakeholders regarding program goals, objectives, and approach.
- Financial Crimes certifications Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP)
- Previous experience with data governance and lineage tools (e.g., Collibra, MANTA, Informatica).
- Technical experience- SQL, and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiar with Hadoop / Google BigQuery / Spark / Vertex AI

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $187,000.00
