Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will support the Identity & Access Management (IAM) pillar of APi Group’s global Information Security program. The IAM pillar is a crucial component to APi Group’s security capabilities and is focused on establishing, maintaining, and governing a framework of business processes, policies and technologies that facilitates the management of digital identities using least privilege and just-in-time access methodology. The IAM Analyst has primary responsibility maintaining day to day operational needs of APi Group’s IAM team, processes, and tools.
- Execute and support the (IAM) vision and roadmap.
- Ensure IAM solutions are meeting security and business objectives and outcomes by establishing metrics that lead to actions for improvement.
- Provide clear and concise reports to leadership on the status of IAM within the organization.
- Understand the various IAM tools and technologies available and recommend solutions that will meet the company’s needs.
- Troubleshoot IAM issues and develop creative solutions to solve problems.
- Possess a strong understanding of security concepts and how they apply to IAM.
- Develop and deliver IAM training to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Support alignment of IAM processes across all operating companies in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement from both process and technology perspectives.
- Research and stay current on IAM trends and best practices.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 4-7 years of Information Security related work experience, knowledge and/or experience related to Identity Access Management or Identity Governance Administration preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands on experience with tools and methodologies for managing Privileged Access
- Working knowledge of IAM concepts, including federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, access control attacks, identity and access provisioning life cycle.
- Familiarity with database concepts and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Understanding of computer-related security systems such as firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication.
- Impeccable confidentiality, attention to detail, and self-organization.
- Self-directed and motivated with a positive and willing attitude.
- Understanding of managing external customer identities and 3rd party user records.
- Experience conducting access reviews and certifications.
- Understanding of SOx and GDPR requirements preferred.
Benefits and Compensation:
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $88,300 - $132,300, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
