Leidos Engineering has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator (PC) who will work alongside project managers, lead engineers and account managers supporting substation engineering projects for various electric utility clients throughout the Northern United States. The PC will be part of an established team within our Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) division. PDS provides consulting services to public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities for comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission, substation, and distribution projects nationwide.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist project management teams in planning, organizing, and managing various projects, providing detailed data to support decision-making
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using established computer platforms
- Track milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments
- Set up and manage project collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint sites
- Create and maintain comprehensive project reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review
- Support monthly client invoice processes and track project hours to ensure alignment with budgets and contracts
- Track and report project costs, risks, and schedules, assisting in the development of recovery plans when necessary
- Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion
Required Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field with 0-2+ years of relevant experience preferred
- An Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field with 2-4+ years of relevant experience will be considered
- Familiarity with the electric utility industry is highly desirable
Technical Skills needed for this role:
- Experience with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Workfront, MS Project or P6) is preferred
Soft Skills that will help you succeed in this position:
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities are required to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Location:
- Candidates should possess a valid US driver’s license
- Hybrid office attendance (2-3 days in office, remaining days work from home) in one of the following offices is highly preferred: Walled Lake, MI; Charlotte, NC

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
