About E&T Procurement
Caterpillar’s E&T Procurement organization plays a critical role in supporting all divisions within Energy and Transportation. Our work is geared towards our pistons of Predictable Supply Excellence, Optimized Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Relationship Management and Lifecycle Sourcing Strategy. We continue to develop suppliers who competitively deliver operational excellence, enabling our customers to build a better world. Job Summary
As the Procurement Professional, you will report directly to the Product Procurement Manager. This role will undertake specific Product Procurement responsibility and accountability. It will support the implementation of Product Group strategies while collaborating to align the Category Management supply strategies that will create a competitive advantage for our customers by developing, optimizing, and integrating a world-class supply network.
What You Will Do:
• Tactical support for NPI procurement activities from APQP launch to purchase order issuance
• Provide day to day support to supply chain teams on part availability escalations
• Active coordination of data/supply performance details
• Ability to use the Enterprise Digital Order Fulfillment (EDOF) to pull/analyze reports
• Analysis of assurance of supply information from multiple sources
• Production and output of key concise reports to determine supply issues and proactively work with category procurement teams and suppliers on RCCA

• Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status.
• Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects.
• Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
• Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.
• Produces standard project status reports.
Procurement: Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices, and use tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment and services needed to conduct business.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Works with the procurement of services, materials or equipment.
• Follows established procedures, documentation requirements and approval level requests to conduct procurement activities.
• Interprets benefits, issues and considerations of using e-procurement.
• Uses available procurement systems and tools in transactions with approved suppliers.
• Assists in reviewing the fulfillment of administrative and documentation requirements for the completion of purchase.
Additional Information:
This position is located in Lafayette, IN and requires a 5-day-a-week in office schedule

Summary Pay Range:
$87,480.00 - $131,280.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
