Description:We are Lockheed MartinThis position is for a senior manager of the Test
Operations team at Patuxent River, MD. The
team is responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing and overseeing all aspects of flight
test for Weapons, Mission System and Flight
Sciences missions. The successful candidate will lead a team of ~75 members of the PAX Integrated Test Force.
Provide onsite technical and management
oversight to a team of flight test personnel.
Establish and coordinate processes, plans, and procedures necessary to provide timely,
accurate, and focused testing meeting Block 4
capability delivery.
Enable autonomous day to day operation with appropriate Fort Worth & EDW ITF coordination.
Frequent communication with internal Lockheed and Government (JPO and DoN) mid-level and
executive management.
Manages the design, development, and testing
of a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts. Directs establishment of structural specifications, performance of stress analysis, and performance testing. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Support the Site Director and Senior Managers at PAX to generate the sortie and test points to meet the PAX plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating the LM/govt., flight test personnel into a cohesive team dedicated to executing efficient flight testing of missions.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
