Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer to design, fabricate, integrate, verify and validate a Radio Frequency (RF) Sensor test station. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the design of test equipment hardware and software as needed for RF Sensor Test Stations and their respective Test Program Sets (TPS)/Interface Test Adapters (ITA).
• Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
• Collaborating with subsystem engineering teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support RF subsystem troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues
• Supporting the integration, fabrication, verification and validation of RF Sensor test stations
• Support Design Assurance Reviews (DAR)
• Supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used for RF Sensor development.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 2 years of professional experience (or 0 with a Masters), or equivalent professional experience
• Experience Designing or Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA’s) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
• Experience Integrating Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Interim Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
• Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
