Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Proficient in Progress OpenEdge technologies, such as AppBuilder, Data Dictionary, SmartObjects, and ABL (Advanced Business Language).
Open Edge REST Services API experience
4+ years of experience in software development.
4+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
4+ years of experience in SQL databases.
4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
5+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
5+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
5+ years of experience with performance tuning and optimization.

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
