Reimagine What’s Possible
This position engages, qualifies and develops a gasification prospect to an executed license and associated contracts and liaison with our SOG (Sale- of - Gas) team in developing gasification prospects for our SOG business.
The position proactively develops gasification business opportunities for licensing primarily in Europe, middle east and India and helps drive the competitiveness of our gasification technology along with our Technology and Product Line teams. The position is accountable for the License team meeting or exceeding its order intake and P&L targets.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead, Identify, engage, qualify and promote gasification licensing deals pipeline in an assigned region or segment.
Interface directly with and build relationships with the customer base in the region (incl. presentations, trade fairs and conferences).
Manage, develop, coordinate and conduct new customer and new product development activities in the region including joint product development.
Develop existing customers and generate new potential service and equipment offerings.
Identify and evaluate customer driven project needs and specifications and provide them with technical and commercial support.
Develop, recommend and support new strategic growth ideas.
Review requests for proposals, prepare offers, coordinate with the commercial operations team the preparation of complex offers and offers based on tenders.
Accountable for the order process, margin delivery and other relevant license team deliverables.
Support customer base with negotiated and paid feasibility studies during development phase
Direct responsibility to deliver $4 -7 million per annum from licensing activities
Lead Engagement with senior level external parties
Lead liaison with Senior level government officials
Support of Developing business for new (syngas) value proposition in a large and competitive market
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or business discipline with 5+ years sales experience
Strong results delivery focus.
Customer orientated with external focus.
Self-starter, self-motivating
Proven strategic thinking for growth idea creation and at the same time possessing a hands-on approach in execution.
Knowledge of the local market and competition.
Commercial/Technical experience of complex products and projects.
High level of Integrity.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (oral & written).
Good analytical skills and team spirit.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Strong commercial and technical skills (gasification experience preferred) with sound analytical capabilities and commercial sense
Extensive working experience with proactive, resilient and self-motivated attitude, with proven business development track record under challenging conditions and pressure
Solid experience in development of major capital projects with a focus on their early phases (Identify, Assess, Select)
Strong customer focus/external mind set required with proven record of delivering results and strong proven ability to build relationships with customers
Ability to translate strategic opportunities into specific plans for growth.
Broader market view is important beyond deal-to-deal activities
Strong influencing and leadership skills to achieve alignment across all levels and team work with key internal interfaces
