We’re hiring a
Regional Safety Manager to support our Corporate HQ in
Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Regional Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA), analyzing data to prevent unhealthy trends, leading investigations of incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions, maintaining documentation, integrating safety into daily operations, supporting regional leadership with safety communications and meetings, applying OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standards, and promoting a strong safety culture. This position is fully remote.
Salary range: $110k-$132k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and programs across all locations in the region.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments at branch locations and job sites.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Compile data within assigned locations to identify unhealthy trends that can be mitigated by early intervention
- Lead investigations of workplace accidents, near-misses, property damage, and vehicle incidents.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, training records, and safety inspections.
- Partner with operations to integrate safety into daily work activities and business decisions.
- Support regional leadership with safety communications, safety stand-downs, and weekly safety meetings.
- Apply working knowledge and understanding of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry Standards) to evaluate workplace conditions, equipment use, and employee practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees at all levels and reinforcing safe work practices.

Skills & Qualifications
- Be a strong listener

Education And Experience
- Bachelors degree in Safety Management or similar field
- At least 6 years professional field experience in safety
- Past successful experience in the construction industry is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Must be able to at times lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to travel at least 50%-75% of the time, sometimes outside of the assigned region
- Must live within at least a 45 minute commute to an airport who offers domestic flights
