What You Will Be Doing
As a Test Systems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Designing, developing, and overseeing system software architectures, including complex interfaces and controllers design activities, and roadmap generation
• Serving as the focal point for the development and communication of the system software architecture
• Ensuring conversion of mission requirements into total systems software solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the integrated system
• Supporting internal and external design reviews
• Maintaining knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Software Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Strong foundation and professional experience with API design, data framework generation, modeling and simulation.
• Strong foundation and professional experience in C++ code development and Linux based operating systems.
• Proven professional track record designing, implementing and integrating test automation and DevOps, including but not limited to CI/CD pipelines.
Desired Skills:
• Comfortable conducting/leading Hardware/Software Integration activities.
• Comfortable conducting peer reviews on software merge requests.
• Experience with Platform/Weapon Emulation.
• Experience with Telemetry Data and Video interfaces.
• Professional Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-1760.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
