Description: You will be a System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX, supporting several Tactical Missiles, Precision Fires, and Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Development efforts. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, and you will play a key role in integrating and testing GMLRS-based munitions with launchers, and planning, coordinating, and executing flight test range activities.
What You Will Be Doing
As an IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Developing, preparing, and executing comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for missile processing, ground, and flight tests
• Performing as an asset manager for the missile from initial builds to integration, then ground and flight tests
• Supporting program meetings and reporting, and supporting customer meetings and periodic program reviews
• Coordinating with personnel from different functional areas to prepare needed resources for successful completion of testing
• Serving as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for IT&E-related work packages
• Preparing and supporting technical interchange meetings, customer design reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Pre-Ship Reviews
• Providing troubleshooting leadership, identifying cause and corrective action to resolve technical issues, and developing re-test instructions when needed
• Identifying and leading the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations
• Ensuring that configuration management is maintained with all documentation

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience. Considered an emerging authority.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• A good understanding of basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills with the ability to teach others.
• Experience with developing, preparing, and executing comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for missile processing, ground, and flight tests
• Experience performing tasks related to Earned Value Management Systems
• Interim Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM) and Launchers is a plus including the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS, M142) and Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS, M270A2) Launchers.
• Engineering team leadership experience including task planning, control account management (CAM), subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
• Demonstrate the ability to coordinate comfortably with different disciplines to fabricate, integrate, and test flight hardware.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
• Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
• Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
