Embedded Systems Engineer Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to design and develop electronic embedded systems specifically for corrosion monitoring applications. The role’s primary responsibilities include the design, programming, and integration of embedded systems using PIC, STM, and SIL microcontrollers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with embedded hardware and software development, and be capable of delivering reliable, efficient solutions tailored to specialized monitoring systems.

Embedded Systems Engineer Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering with specialization in Embedded Systems, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience, or
- Master of Science degree in Embedded Systems Design with at least 1 year of experience.
Embedded Systems Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design embedded systems utilizing the most suitable controllers based on application requirements.
- Select appropriate microcontrollers (e.g., PIC, STM, SiLabs) tailored to project needs.
- Develop system circuits and firmware, focusing on robust and efficient design.
- Engineer systems optimized for battery-powered applications.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and technical team members to ensure project success.
To be successful as an Embedded Systems Engineer with ALSPI, you must also possess Knowledge on Embedded System design and FW development:
- Proficient in C/C++ and experienced with 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers (SiLabs, STM, TI, PIC).
- Skilled in communication protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, DAC, and wireless standards like LoRa, HART, ISA100, as well as Wi-Fi, GSM, Bluetooth, USB, Satellite, and IoT technologies.
- Familiar with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS and RTX, plus bare-metal programming.
- Strong background in digital and analog circuit design, power management, and battery-operated systems.
- Experienced with debugging tools including JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, with knowledge of AI/ML integration for intelligent embedded solutions.
