What you will do:
- Develop and maintain DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines throughout the development lifecycle, integrating RPG-based core banking systems with modern technologies like Java and Angular for the Signature UI.
- Track progress of assigned tasks, proactively identify and resolve issues, and report status to the team, ensuring personal ownership and accountability.
- Facilitate a supportive team environment to overcome any political, bureaucratic, or resource barriers while independently implementing solutions with a hands-on approach.
- Provide 24/7 technical support for DevOps as required and continuously improve deployment plans to automate activities and enhance efficiency.
- Deliver agile, multi-channel experiences that enhance user interactions through effective integration of legacy and modern systems, ensuring seamless operations and modernization without replacing core banking infrastructure.
What you will need to have:
- 9+ years of recent hands-on experience in DevOps and Java, with proficiency in continuous development and integration, including tools such as Git, Bamboo/Jenkins, Maven/Ant, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, preferably RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE), scripting languages like Batch, Bash, and Python, and cloud platforms like IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Tanzu.
- 6+ years of experience with RPG (Report Program Generator) language and familiarity with Signature core banking product used in LATAM, EMEA, and APAC markets, along with automated package management with Helm for deployment in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT Engineering and/or equivalent military experience

- 8+ years of experience integrating with third-party applications.
- 8+ years of experience with agile methodologies and configuration management.
- 8+ years of financial industry and core banking integration experience.
