Description:This position is responsible for supervising the Receiving Inspection activities for Lockheed Martin’s RMS-Moorestown, NJ facility.
General Responsibilities: The supervisor will be responsible for assigning daily job assignments, establishing department priorities, assigning inspection resources as needed, identifying employee development requirements, monitoring staff output for quality and quantity of work.
Primary job function is to provide daily planning, prioritizing and coordination of resources required to ensure timely flow of compliant product to Operations. Additional functions include aiding in the process of returning non-compliant material to suppliers through supporting reject control activities.
This is accomplished through the following:
• Ensuring product complies to specification
• Assuring completeness of work and adherence to company, divisional and departmental command media
• Support for maintenance/creation of effective Inspection Plans and adherence to such
• Assist in the timely closure of Quality Notifications
• Management of Receiving Inspection WIP (backlog and aging)
• Support for timely return of non-conforming product to suppliers
• Analysis of rejection data for trends and development of actions to address (SCARs, CARs)
• Support for Management’s efforts with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
• Leading process improvement efforts aimed at improving performance tied to key area metrics such as inspection lot cycle time, inspection lot backlog, Hot Lot cycle time, IBD usage, etc.

• Exposure/awareness of AS9100/ISO requirements as appropriate
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity and ability to navigate SAP
Desired Skills:• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Familiarity with RMS Quality processes and procedures.
• Experience interacting with Customers: preferably DCMA or Government agencies.
• Experience with RMS’s Procure to Pay (P2P) System
• Understanding and management of Operating budgets
• Green Belt Trained/Certified
• GD&T familiarity
• Understanding of 6S

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
