Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member that will support various tasks (in a full project life cycle) related to fabrication within sustainment activities.
The Testbed and Simulations (TB&S) Manufacturing Support Team Member is crucial for keeping the fabrication of our HWIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) builds on track and inline with the program’s schedule. This role necessitates continuous communication with team members, fabrication, procurement, and Program Leads to grasp need dates, priorities, and progress.
The Manufacturing Support Team Member supports production and business processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Their work spans a variety of cross-functional areas including quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. They regularly interact with stakeholders for product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
The Manufacturing Support Team Member creates schedules, determines priorities, provides status updates, and communicates blockers. They use their understanding of the industry, company standards, and best practices to create objectives and long-range goals to improve systems and processes.
Key Duties of the Manufacturing Support Team Member:
• Drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all business functions.
• Align work functions and activities among different functional groups.
• Use Enterprise Resource planning tools to conduct logistics planning, management, and tracking activities.
• Evaluate material issues/concerns to determine impacts to business operations
• Identify schedule delivery improvement opportunities with a focus on early and on-time delivery of materials to support the manufacturing success.
• Generate reports and develop metric reports to provide performance status to leadership teams.
• Conduct contingency schedule planning to determine best path forward and mitigate hardware delays.
• Understand and communicate the plan for deliverable hardware including critical path, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create weekly hardware delivery report.
Basic Qualifications:• 2+ Years of Recent production planning experience.
• Strong understanding of technical design and advanced manufacturing processes.
• Prior experience generating reports and metrics input
• Experience coordinating and developing schedules.
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, macro and/or VBA experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience working with different multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience coordinating and developing schedules.
• Ability to work multiple projects in parallel.
• Logistics/material planning and management experience
• Computer proficiency with ability to learn new software.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software (i.e. SAP).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using data to develop metrics.
• Project management experience.
• Understand technical engineering documentation, to coordinate with fabrication teams and operations.
• Knowledge of cable design.
• Capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment, providing independent thinking, problem resolution, and action with minimal direct oversight by management.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, but not required to start.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
