About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Internal Market Growth Consultant to serve as a liaison to the field managers and Financial Advisors (FA) across the footprint. In this role you will: - Lead business growth initiativesthat enhance Financial Advisor development and improve client experience.
- Partner with Market Growth Directorsto implement strategies that increase advisor productivity and engagement.
- Conduct outbound and inbound callsto deliver training, education, and strategic support to advisors.
- Ensure compliancewith regulatory requirements and internal policies across all activities.
- Research and recommend product and channel strategiestailored to market needs and advisor goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholdersto align business development efforts with organizational priorities.
- Analyze advisor performance datato identify trends and opportunities for targeted coaching and enablement.
- Support advisor onboarding and digital adoption, while mentoring team members and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience in Business Growth Strategy or a related field, demonstrated through work experience, military service, or education.
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 Series exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Desired Qualifications: - Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and 65 (or 66) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
- Experiencein financial services, business development, or brokerage environments.
- Knowledge of investment advisory, portfolio management, and consumer lending productsacross a full balance sheet.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Skilled in managing multiple prioritiesin fast-paced environments with strong organizational discipline.
Job Expectations: - 5 days in office, occasional travel up to 5% required.
- Variable hours based on assigned market.
- FINRA Series 63 and Series 65 (or 66) examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) may be required for ongoing employment in this position.
- This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
