Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our financial solutions through innovative Salesforce applications, contributing directly to our mission of empowering small businesses with quick and accessible financing.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and translate business needs into Salesforce implementations
- Optimize existing Salesforce configurations and develop new features
- Participate in solution design and apply best practices
- Analyze and troubleshoot Salesforce issues
- Improve Salesforce processes and propose solutions based on Salesforce capabilities
- Estimate efforts and follow development lifecycle processes
- Maintain Salesforce documentation
- Provide basic Salesforce support, including user management (user setup, password resets and profile permission), data input, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or related work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Salesforce development
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, and Lightning components
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, relational database concepts, and system design
- Experience with Salesforce architecture and custom coding
- Experience with cloud services and integration is a plus
- Familiarity with API development best practices is a plus
- Experience with community cloud sites is a plus
- Salesforce Developer Certification preferred
- Familiarity with business process analysis and CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and technical writing
