What does a successful International Tax Manager do?
As an International Tax Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring international tax compliance, supporting key tax provision calculations, and serving as the point person for Pillar II compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep U.S. international tax technical expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate complex data requirements.
What you will do:
- Oversee and review the timely filing of key international tax forms, including forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993.
- Review quarterly and year-end tax provisions for U.S. international inclusions such as GILTI, FDII, and Subpart F.
- Support various tax-related initiatives, including depreciation calculations, basis studies, PTEP tracking, section 987 calculations, monitoring legislative changes in tax law, modeling the impacts of tax law and company structural changes
- Act as the primary contact for internal teams and external service providers related to Pillar II compliance and coordinate filing logistics for the GLOBE return and individual country-specific returns.
- Assist the EMEA Tax Director on various projects including Pillar II local compliance, EU Public Country-by-country reporting, and annual CFC reviews for UK and Ireland compliance.
- Prepare qualified Country-by-country reporting under Pillar II, including process documentation, audit support, and efficiency assessments.
- Assist with Pillar II transfer pricing projects, including researching and documenting rules by country and developing processes for data gathering and reporting on cross-border transactions.
- Review and analyze foreign tax package data for inclusions in transfer pricing and tax provision adjustments.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in-house or public accounting focused on international tax compliance
- Advance experience using OneSource Income Tax
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
What would be great to have:
- Master of Science in Accounting or Tax and/or Certified Public Accountant certification.
- Experience using Alteryx
- Experience using Microsoft Power Tools
