What does a successful Process Engineer do?
As a Process Engineer at Fiserv, you will drive cultural change by building partnerships with Business Unit leaders, equipping and enabling customer-centric, process-focused, data-driven decisions. Utilizing industry best practices and methodologies, you will work to improve quality and client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to reaching out across the organization to present and implement a vision for better processes, while securing buy-in from all levels.
What you will do:
- Act as a change agent to lead performance quality awareness and the use of process improvement tools.
- Lead the assessment, identification, and realization of productivity and operations improvement opportunities within the Fiserv Output Solution division.
- Support end-to-end process development from early process definition to implementation.
- Develop solutions for problems by innovating, designing, and developing processes, procedures, tooling, and/or automation with suppliers.
- Facilitate regular reviews of quality and process improvement metrics, identifying and driving projects that improve these metrics.
- Implement process solutions, considering integration into the business, accounting for cultural change, and determining necessary organizational structure changes.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement, quality, and related functions.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Excellent facilitation skills to lead and support empowered employees in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share success and ideas across the division.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in Transactional Print, Direct Mail, or Secure Card industry.
- Experience in material handling automation.
- Working knowledge of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow, Five S’s, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in Minitab/statistical analysis tools.
- Proficiency in finite capacity scheduling tools and technology.
- Simulation software experience (Arena) is a plus.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
