We are currently seeking a Procurement Global Category Manager. This position performs complex activities related to the purchasing of corporate products and professional services in accordance with business strategy, company policy, and regulatory environment. Under limited direction, the Corporate & Professional Services Category Manager is responsible for developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the best value for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and some specific expertise and experience in some relevant categories, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally within the organization, striving for continuous improvement for procurement operations.

What you’ll do:
Collaborate with senior leaders to align procurement strategies with business priorities
Develop and execute category strategies for corporate and professional services (consulting, legal, HR, travel, marketing, etc.)
Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and long-term partnership management
Drive cost savings, efficiency initiatives, and multi-year value capture plans
Monitor market trends and manage risks to ensure continuity of services
Track spend, savings, and supplier performance using data and analytics
Foster innovation through supplier-led solutions and process improvements
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and governance standards
Communicate strategies and results effectively to executive stakeholders
Lead change management initiatives to embed new sourcing processes and tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
7–10+ years’ experience in Corporate & Professional Services procurement and category management
Strong knowledge of services such as consulting, legal, HR, marketing, travel, and financial services
Proven track record developing and implementing procurement strategies
Proficiency with procurement tools, spend management systems, and Microsoft Office
Experience leading procurement transformations and managing complex supplier ecosystems
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to travel up to 20%
Competencies and Skills:
Strong sourcing, negotiation, and contract management expertise (RFx, SLAs)
Strategic thinker with proven decision-making, problem-solving, and risk management skills
Proficient in analytics, spend management, and financial/cost analysis
Skilled in project/program management and organizational change management (OCM)
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with global stakeholders and suppliers
Leadership experience with the ability to influence, foster supplier partnerships, and drive results
Preferred Experience:
Expertise and experience in Corporate and Professional Services category management.
Procurement program management and industry experience and spend management is a plus.
Procurement spend management system experience is a plus.
Experience working in and/or supporting a global business.
Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
Benefits and Compensation:
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $106,100 - $159,700, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
