The Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPS) organization is experiencing significant growth, creating opportunities to expand specific business segments. The LEPS strategy team seeks a passionate individual to define and implement a growth strategy for Balance of Plant, Energy Storage Systems, and Electrical components like Switchgears. This global role requires a customized strategy for each region.
Responsibilities:
- Work with local teams to understand market trends, existing offerings and competitors’ positions
- Develop growth strategies for each targeted region
- Ensure implementation plans are developed and executed in a timely manner
- Review plans on regular basis and adjust them when needed according to the latest market dynamic
- Provide updates to key stakeholders on timely manner
- Prioritize workload based on facts like opportunity size, profitability and other relevant facts
- Ensure alignment with other LEPS and EPD strategies
- Develop and maintain Long Term Forecast for the scope of responsibilities. Align the process with other LEPS forecasting processes

What you have:
Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business or technical/engineering preferred
- Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Level: Working Knowledge
- Visioning: Understanding of the value of articulating an intended business outcome and ability to create and communicate a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance. Level: Working Knowledge
- Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan. Level: Extensive Experience
- Stakeholder Management: Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques; ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and implement various tasks to engage with them. Level: Extensive Experience
- Master business cases development
- Deep knowledge of the Electric Power industry is highly recommended

Additional information:
- Position is located in Alpharetta, GA or Dallas, TX
- Position requires 5 day a week in office work schedule

Summary Pay Range:
$156,000.00 - $234,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
