At Trane Technologies, you'll lead exciting projects that make a significant impact on the environment and our communities. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead the design of cutting-edge solutions that drive sustainability and innovation. Your expertise will be pivotal in advancing our mission to create a more sustainable world through groundbreaking technology.
What you will do:
- Utilize tools and different engineering software to develop clear and concise technical content with minimal guidance.
- Execute test plans that address design risks and validation requirements for product and component designs. Define, identify and complete appropriate qualification testing activities.
- Evaluate and verify the work completed by junior engineers and team members.
- Lead the development of groundbreaking ideas and drive initiatives to improve overall business outcomes.
- Mentor others in creative processes and foster a culture of innovation within the team, consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
- Plan and manage diverse engineering and/or technical projects. Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, and track project milestones through detailed progress reports and team meetings.
- Proactively tackle complex issues using engineering judgement, analysis, and innovation to ultimately identify and solve problems. Systematically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches, making well-informed decisions.
- Uses feedback and guidance from subject matter experts, suppliers, and educational sources to enhance design and requirements.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree of science in electrical engineering or bachelor’s degree of electrical and electronics engineering. Required
- 5+ years of relevant electrical experience.
